Every crowd controller we deploy holds a current Queensland crowd controller licence under the Security Providers Act 1993, carries first-aid training and is briefed on your venue, your house policies and your escalation contacts before the shift starts. Our 24/7 control room in Morayfield supports every deployment, so if you need extra hands mid-event, a replacement guard or urgent cover, there is always someone on the other end of the line.

Crowd control in Queensland is regulated work. Under the Security Providers Act, people who control, screen or remove patrons at a venue or event must hold a current crowd controller licence — and venues that rely on unlicensed staff put their own liquor licence at risk. Everyone we roster is licensed and police-checked, and we are happy to provide licence numbers and our certificate of currency before your event.
Licensed venues also carry obligations under the Liquor Act 1992. Our crowd controllers understand responsible service of alcohol, the signs of intoxication and how to support your bar staff when service is refused. Where ID scanning applies to late-trading venues in Safe Night Precincts, we build your scanning procedure into the entry plan, so the line keeps moving and your records stay complete.

Yes. Every crowd controller we roster holds a current Queensland crowd controller licence and has been police-checked, and most also hold first-aid certificates. We are happy to provide licence numbers and our certificate of currency before your event, which many venues and councils ask for as part of their approvals.
How many crowd controllers will my event need?
It depends on crowd size, the type of event, whether alcohol is served, the layout of the venue and any conditions on your licence or permit. One crowd controller per 100 patrons is a common starting point, but a ticketed festival, an all-ages gig and a seated corporate dinner all need different numbers. We will give you a firm recommendation after a short conversation.
How much notice do you need?
For weekends and peak periods such as Christmas, New Year and school formal season, a few weeks' notice is ideal. That said, we keep guards on standby and can often fill short-notice shifts — call the control room on 1300 792 800 and we will tell you straight away what we can do.
Can you provide ongoing door staff for my venue?
Yes. Many pubs, clubs and RSLs use us for regular weekly rosters. We aim to keep the same controllers at your venue so they learn your regulars, your house policies and your problem areas, and we can scale up for big nights, live music or public holidays.
What happens if there is a serious incident?
Our controllers are trained to de-escalate first. If an incident escalates, they follow your venue's procedures, call police or ambulance where needed, preserve the scene and look after any injured person until help arrives. Everything is recorded in a written incident report you can share with licensing officers or your insurer.
Which areas do you cover?
We supply crowd controllers across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay, and regularly staff events further north in Hervey Bay and Maryborough. If your event is outside these areas, ask — we can often help.
