Strategic Security is a Queensland-owned, family-operated company. We provide a complete range of security services to residential, commercial, industrial, retail and public facilities — from a single guard on a building site to multi-site corporate coverage, event teams and close personal protection.

We are led by directors with more than 40 years of practical operational experience in the security industry. The business is run by an ex-police officer and an ex-military professional, working alongside a professional risk-assessment officer — so the way we plan and deliver security comes from people who have done the job, not just managed it.

We emphasise strict standards of service, discretion and integrity. We work with each client from the first consultation through to a smooth transition into their daily operations, and we keep the relationship personal: the same people, the same standards and a team that answers the phone.

From Splendour in the Grass to the suburban RSL

Over the years we have managed security at major events such as Big Day Out and Splendour in the Grass, and we provide security officers for RSLs, pubs, nightclubs, shopping centres, corporate buildings and construction sites. We also run mobile patrols and alarm responses across Brisbane, Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast.

Since 2007 we have been a preferred Queensland Government supplier — independent proof that our standards hold up to scrutiny. Today our clients include government services, schools, sporting bodies, builders and local businesses, and we look after more than 520 active clients across South East Queensland, Hervey Bay and Maryborough.

Every shift we run is backed by our control room at 54–56 Meadowview Drive, Morayfield. It coordinates patrols and alarm responses, keeps two-way radio contact with officers in the field, arranges replacement or extra staff when plans change, and answers your call at any hour.

Patrol vehicles are GPS-tracked and every visit is recorded, so you get clear reports rather than guesswork. Supervisors check on officers through the night, which means nobody is left unsupported on a long shift — and when something does happen, the right people know about it straight away.
