Licensed security guards, crowd controllers, mobile patrols and alarm response from Coomera to Coolangatta — planned by a Queensland family-owned company with more than 25 years in the industry and a 24/7 control room behind every shift.

The Gold Coast is not one market. A Surfers Paradise venue on a Saturday night, a half-built tower in Southport, a car yard in Nerang and a retail strip in Robina all need very different security — and the gap between a guard who simply turns up and one who understands the site is where most problems start. Strategic Security plans Gold Coast work the same way we plan everything else: we look at the site, the hours and the risk first, then decide who, how many and how often.
We supply static security guards, licensed crowd controllers, mobile patrols, alarm response, event security and loss prevention to Gold Coast businesses, venues, builders and property managers. Every officer holds the Queensland licence for the work they do, is police-checked and is briefed on your site before the first shift.
All Gold Coast shifts are backed by our 24/7 control room at 54–56 Meadowview Drive, Morayfield. The control room keeps radio contact with officers, arranges replacements or extra staff when plans change, and answers your call at any hour. Because travel on the M1 can change a schedule quickly, we agree start times, response windows and handover points in writing before work begins — so there are no surprises on the night.

Security on the coast changes with the calendar. These are the situations Gold Coast clients most often call us about.
Surfers Paradise CBD and Broadbeach CBD are both official Queensland safe night precincts. Venues there work under extra rules — ID scanning for premises trading past midnight, last-drinks limits and close police attention — so door staff need to know the procedure, not just the venue.
From high-rise towers in Southport and Broadbeach to estates in Coomera, Pimpama and the northern growth corridor, Gold Coast sites carry expensive plant and materials. A mix of a static guard at peak-risk times and patrols in between usually protects the budget as well as the site.
School holidays, Schoolies week, major sporting events and summer weekends bring crowds the coast is built for — and the risks that come with them. We help hosts and venues scale up early, with clear numbers, positions and a run sheet agreed well before the day.

A Gold Coast shift is held to exactly the same standard as a Brisbane one. Officers are licensed under Queensland's Security Providers Act 1993 for the work they do, crowd controllers complete the first-aid and conflict units that the licence requires, and every officer is briefed on the site, the run sheet and the escalation contacts before they start. Our directors bring more than 40 years of operational experience between them — including policing and military backgrounds — and that shows in how a shift is planned.
We also keep the paperwork straightforward. You receive incident reports after each shift, patrol records with times, and licence numbers and a certificate of currency on request — the documents councils, venue owners, insurers and head contractors usually ask for. If you are comparing providers, our guide to checking security licences in Queensland explains what to ask any company before you sign.
