Licensed crowd controllers, venue security, event teams and after-hours patrols for Brisbane's busiest night-time precinct — from a Queensland company with more than 25 years on the doors of pubs, clubs and major events.

Fortitude Valley is two different places. By day it is offices, cafés, the James Street precinct and apartment towers. By night it becomes Brisbane's entertainment heart, with live music, bars and clubs drawing big crowds into a small area. Security here has to handle both: calm, professional presence for businesses and residential buildings, and experienced crowd control when the precinct is at its busiest.
Fortitude Valley is one of Queensland's official safe night precincts. Licensed venues approved to trade past midnight must run networked ID scanners at every entry point, and the precinct operates under its own local board and close police attention. That means a crowd controller in the Valley needs to know the scanning procedure, banned-patron processes and incident reporting as well as the venue's own house policies. Our licensed crowd controllers are briefed on all of it before the doors open.
Beyond the venues, we provide static guards and mobile patrols for construction sites, car parks and residential buildings, corporate and concierge security for offices, and event security for launches, functions and live music. Every shift is backed by our 24/7 control room in Morayfield.

The Valley rewards experience. These are the conditions our officers plan for.
Venues trading past midnight scan IDs at every entry, and safe night precinct venues generally stop serving by 3am, with occasional approved late events. Staff must apply the rules consistently, every night.
Malls, laneways and queues fill quickly at peak times. Officers who read a crowd early, keep queues moving and step in before trouble starts protect both patrons and the venue's licence.
Apartments sit beside venues and building sites. Calm dispersal at close, good car park patrols and clear incident records help businesses stay on good terms with neighbours.

Every crowd controller we roster is licensed under Queensland's Security Providers Act 1993. In Queensland, crowd controllers must complete all units of the Certificate II in Security Operations — including first aid — and refresh key units such as conflict management, empty-hand control and first aid every three years. We check those records before anyone works a door for you, and our guide to security licences in Queensland explains what venue owners should ask any provider.
Our experience runs from suburban RSLs and pubs to major events such as Big Day Out and Splendour in the Grass, and our directors bring more than 40 years of operational experience — including ex-police and ex-military backgrounds. That shows in the planning: positions, numbers and escalation contacts agreed in advance, written incident reports after every shift, and a 24/7 control room that can send extra staff when a night gets busier than expected.
Close of trade is where many incidents happen. Our teams plan the end of the night as carefully as the start: staggered exits, clear paths to taxi and rideshare ranks, a watchful presence in nearby car parks, and a calm word with patrons who want to linger. Good dispersal protects your patrons and your licence, and it keeps relationships with the Valley's growing number of residents on a good footing.
